When is it needed?
Excavation work is often a last resort. Initially we use a CCTV survey to check the condition of the
drainage system. It may be the case that it is something that can be removed or something that can be repaired without the need to excavate.
An excavation needs to be done when our many other methods of drain repair work may not be
sufficient.
Drainage problems such as a severely collapsed drain is the usual cause of excavation works.
Simplified, we dig up the old section of pipe and replace with brand new drainage.
